Limerick Lions hosted a hugely successful under-10 blitz in St Clements college last Sunday.

The event was attended by teams from St Brendans Tralee, Killorglin, Claregalway and New Inn as well as the best of Lions young talent. The great work that under-10 coaches Trevor Moore, Brendan Kelly, Nigel Briganti and Colm Deegan have done all year was on display for all to see.

Particularly impressive for Lions were Jazz Pendejito, Niall Sweeney, Kevin Dowling, Nathan Moore, Joey Byrne and Cian Kearney. These were well assisted by Jack Dowling, Elmias Johanes, Dennis Kolomiyets, Evan Cosgrave, Iarlaith Caffrey, Peter Cooney, Scott Bridges, Adam and Alex McNamara and Ray O’ Halloran.

UL Eagle stars Stewart Robbins and Glen Wong were on hand to present awards at the end of a highly entertaining days basketball with Lions prodigious talent Jazz Pendejito scooping the tournament MVP award. Click here for more photos
