On Friday night Lions two under-14 teams faced each other in the North Munster league.

Mark Sutton’s charges kept it competitive for most of the game with Harry Coyne’s team only pulling clear in the last quarter.

Matt Sutton, Brian Murray and Aaron McNamara played fine games for the B-team while Michael Hickey, Emmet Ryan, Cian Collins and Conor Cullen were best for the A-team.

The Lions under-14 program has been a great success this year, with Harry Coyne and Mark Sutton having done great work in developing over 25 players in this age group.

Lions under-14 A-team are looking very good for a place in the All-Ireland tournament in April.
