The SuperLeague Management Board have announced that the joint application of Limerick Lions and UL/Aughinish have been successful in their bid to host the 2008 League finals which will take place on the weekend of March 29/30.
It’s the second successive year the finals have been held in the UL Arena.
Limerick Lions PRO John King said: ”the awarding of the finals for the second year running is recognition of the high level of satisfaction from last year’s event.
Some minor tweaking will be done to ensure repeated success again this year.
We have a great relationship with UL/Aughinish and the University of Limerick Arena management and staff and the event is an example of how co operation between various parties and the availability of top class facilities can make things happen.”
